and leveraging For.Tex's
expertise in premium
dyes and chemicals,
the Monna Lisa defines
excellence in digital
textile production. Launched in the early
2000s, the Monna Lisa has propelled Epson
to
the forefront of the industrial digital textile
market,
showcasing a legacy of innovation.
Driving the Monna Lisa is a new printhead array featuring Epson’s advanced PrecisionCoreTM technology. Taking the example of 128 PrecisionCore MicroTFP print chips configured as 32 four-chip printheads, the array provides 12,800 nozzles2 for each colour and outstanding productivity. While being highly durable, it is also designed for easy maintenance to minimise downtime. PrecisionCore is the outcome of constant research and development to achieve greater efficiency, quality and reliability in Direct-to-Fabric printing. Our range features models from 8 to 64 printheads.
Symmetrical colour alignment ensures consistent colour overlap order is maintained during bidirectional printing. As a result, colour and pattern reproduction are exceptionally uniform, and even areas of solid colour and fine geometric patterning can be beautifully rendered while maintaining high throughput.
Watch videoThe Textile Solution Centre is committed to the advancement of industrial digital textile printing through research, support, education, and promotion. Covering the full production process, from pre to post printing, it brings creative ideas to life and develops customised solutions to give you the smoothest production experience.
The new printhead array combines quality, precision, speed and reliability with unprecedented results. It is the ultimate evolution of Epson’s proprietary Micro Piezo printing technology.
GENESTA inks are developed by Epson in collaboration with For.Tex for Monna Lisa, to allow precision, reliability and durability of fabric prints. The exclusive vacuum-packed degassed ink management system is designed to achieve the maximum efficiency while minimising ink waste.
Epson Precision Dot technologies, including microweave and lookup table (LUT) methods, significantly reduce banding and graininess. The advanced Multi-layer halftone technology randomises the halftone dot pattern, minimising image degradation due to dot misalignment.
Epson Edge Print is designed to maximise the performance of PrecisionCore MicroTFP printheads and GENESTA inks. Everything is done through the easy 3-steps, left-to-right user interface that guides the operator throughout all the phases of preparation and production.
